Complete refurbishment – excellent results. We are confident that we will transform your home into a much better place. We will take care of all aspects of the project: getting materials and good tradesmen whenever needed. We will be in close contact with you throughout the project: updating you about the progress, answering your questions, giving you advice if appropriate. We will leave it up to you to choose the finishes, equipment, colours – however, we will be happy to assist you in selecting those.
Draft plans- Permissions, approvals, consents. On average it will take about 3 weeks to get building control approval. At the same time (or better, even much earlier) the party wall notice should be served to the neighbours. Legally they have 2 months to consent or dissent. In case of dissent there will be a bit more paperwork, and it will take longer to get to the building works starting date.
Building process- House extension project is a major work. Part of your home will be turned into a building site , however we will do all we can to minimise the inconvenience.
Completion- Having all stages of the building project checked and approved by the Local Council inspector, we provide relevant certificates for electrics and gas works. The Local Authority then issue a Completion Certificate.
Benefits- Adding an extension not only increases the floor area but you have the opportunity to redesign the layout of the ground floor and take advantage of the already available space in the best way possible. Also adding an extension allows you to remove unnecessary partitions and create an open plan large living space with a diner or kitchen area.
